Thank goodness, we've been blessed with sunny spells and it's finally feeling like the summer! It's been absolutely months where our feet have been locked up in socks and boots, or socks and trainers; or whatever closed-toe shoes you've been wearing up until now. But, it has come to a point where it's warm enough to free those toes and let them breathe. Sandals tend to be light shoes with either an openwork upper or straps attaching the sole to the foot, but if you're wanting to opt for a shoe with even less constraint, open-toe mules are the ones for you! 

Now most of us are on the search for sandals because when it comes to it we realise we don't have any, or the sandals we do have just aren't right for what we need them for. There are mainly two types of variations of sandals, the type that's suitable for casual daily activities and the type that's worn for more dressy occasions; due to the embellishments, heel height and the strap style. However, if you're lucky enough, you may stumble across some rare gems that can do both; then you know you've hit the jackpot!
