MSGM represents a new era of luxury, with sportswear meeting the Italian style in a kaleidoscopic and original approach to their collections.
Founded by Massimo Giorgetti in Milan, in 2009, the brand set his individual aesthetic through a modern language, reinterpreting the past and anticipating the future in fashion. MSGM is the acronym of Giorgetti’s name and has been founded after years in retail and consulting.
Music is seen as a muse for the inspiration of the collections, described from the designer as “music for eyes.” Playing with volume, shape and details on the construction of the garments, every piece creates the perfect fusion between tailoring and newest trends.
Growing up in Rimini, the designer used the input from the beach and club culture of the city into his style bringing eclectic patterns and colour into highly tailored streetwear collections. In 2010, the label had been selected as one of the best-emerging brands by Vogue Talents and in 2013, Massimo became one of the finalists of “Who’s next”.
Appointed as a creative director of Emilio Pucci in 2015, Giorgetti brought fun and contemporary reinterpretation of the brands by giving a new life to the archives of the fashion house. After two years of collaboration, the designer decided to focus only on MSGM, bringing more experience and personal growth to the brand.
Giorgetti is the one who brought a new wave to Italy and Europe making MSGM one of the most acclaimed brands in the international scene and loved by the trendsetters of the fashion world.
