Keith Brymer Jones
London-born Keith Brymer Jones has been making ceramics since he was eleven years old. At just eighteen, he became an apprentice for Harefield Pottery, learning a mixture of traditional and modern techniques. Although Brymer Jones is best known as a judge on TV shows such as the Great Pottery Throw Down and The Victorian House of Arts and Crafts, he has beenproducing recognisable work for many years. At one point, the ceramicist was making 1000 pots per day in his Highgate Studio and completing orders of up to 16,000 pieces by hand. For the past twenty years, Brymer Jones has been developing extremely popular ‘Word Range’ which aims to ‘bring smiles to people’s faces’.
