What on earth do we wear now? – Bernard Boutique

What on earth do we wear now?

2020: the weirdest year of our lives. A 'Coronacoaster' some have coined it. The year most people have been spent top-half-dressing for work Zoom calls, lounging around in sweatpants or soaking up the sun in swimwear at Costa Del Garden. Now that we are easing back into the 'new normal', and we are finally allowed to reunite with our friends and family, it's time to reacquaint ourselves with the complicated art of getting dressed.

Just to make things a little harder however, we are at the time of year - the in between season - where the confusing, awkward weather makes us question whether to keep wearing our summer clothes or transition into our colder-weather wardrobe. Do we continue with our holiday dresses we've been wearing since May? Or do we brave it and go with our new season clothes at the risk of maybe overheating throughout the day in those extra layers and thicker fabrics?

In an article written by Teen Vogue, 'it has been proven that major historical events, including pandemics, recessions and wars, change the way women dress' and this year our wardrobes choices have focused around finding comfortable staples to get us through self isolation and working from home. It's time that we start putting the same effort and time into our outfits like we did before COVID-19, so take a look at our new lines that bring you both comfort-ability and style as well as being versatile enough to wear now and later on in the year.
