Gift Guide: Jewellery

Our collection of jewellery brands has the perfect balance of contemporary shapes and traditional materials for unique pieces that will truly make a statement. Whether you’re buying for your partner, mother, daughter or friend – we have a great selection of gifts that will add a touch of sparkle to those closest to you this holiday.

Maria Black is known for blurring the lines between fine and fashion jewellery – merging aspects from both elements to create pieces which ‘invite individuals to explore and embrace their individuality in fresh and creative ways’. As a designer, her goal has always been to revolutionise the way people style jewellery and make it their own, and with her earring collections particularly, you can see she’s done just that.
Using a combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern techniques, the sculptural shapes of the precious metal designs are inspired by sources as diverse as everyday objects, people, subcultures and life moments. Bernard's top picks are the DogmaViper and Tove Medium Earring's.

Dogma Earring - £98

Viper Earring - £192

Tove Medium Earring - £84

Delicately made by hand, Anni Lu jewellery features 14-karat solid gold and 18-karat gold plated sterling silver, sparkling crystals, seed beads and semi-precious stones. The brand was founded in 2013 by Helle Vestergaard Poulsen (former creative director of a number of Danish fashion magazines) with the name drawing inspiration from the two people that inspire Helle the most: Her late mother and daughter, Luella.
The ethos behind Anni Lu is to create pieces with personal style whilst experimenting with playful combinations. She is best known for her good luck charms, personalised initial pendants and bold use of colour with her beaded bracelets. Bernard's favourites are the Emmanuelle, Rock & Sea and Hanalei Bracelets.

Green Emmanuelle Bracelet - £50

Rock & Sea Bracelet - £100

Hanalei Bracelet - £45

Hermina Athens’ identity stems from the key element of ‘believing in one’s uniqueness and in celebrating imperfections’. The brand was founded in 2011 by Konstantina Pantelous who named the brand after her daughter and also draws reference to the female equivalent to the Ancient Greek God, Hermes. As a designer, she is constantly inspired by her passion for history and culture, in particular, Greek Mythology and Antiquity.
Every piece of jewellery from her collections is timeless with the hope that it will be passed down through generations. With the experimentation of different textures and a vintage aesthetic, all of her jewellery is loved most for its uniqueness. Bernard loves the Melies Moon Stardust, Hermis Lustre Small Pendant and Full Moon Tangled Necklace.
